We recently designed a new house on a very steep sloping site in Lennox Head. The first thing we did here was set up a scaffold tower to check out the view.
That gave us a good idea of where to position rooms and windows within the house to make the most of the great aspect of the site. The next challenge was how to get high up enough to capture views while staying within the Council’s 2 story height limit. With the garage counting as a third level, the owner had the great idea of detaching it from the house, albeit linked by the main entrance way.
