At Architect Fin & Co we deliver an end to end service from project feasibility, concept design and visualisation, approvals, interior design and working drawings, through to full contract administration.

We are fascinated by light and space and a large focus of our work is on exploring how these qualities can enhance the lives of our clients and end users of the places we design.

We are a vibrant team of Architects and Interior Designers based in Brunswick Heads near Byron Bay. Our office was originally established by Fin Murray in 2005 in Sydney where we continue to work on a large number of projects.

In the early years we developed a great passion for designing contemporary renovations for older houses while respecting heritage character. We still love doing this kind of work in Sydney but since Fin and his family moved to Byron Bay in 2013 we have broadened our design skills far and wide on coastal and rural projects.

We have an intimate understanding of urban and coastal microclimates, topography and landscapes. We love the ocean, the hinterland and the buzz of cities.

Some of the exciting projects we are currently working on include luxury beach houses, hinterland homes, shop top housing, boutique accommodation and wineries. We are Class 2 Registered Building Practitioners.

We have vast experience with Byron Shire, Ballina, Mosman, Woollahra, Waverley, Randwick, City of Sydney, Inner West, North Sydney, Northern Beaches and Willoughby Council’s along with numerous others. We also have projects in the Granite Belt in SE QLD

Fin has also previously worked as a Design Manager for retail landlords AMP Capital and Colonial First State as well as Shanghai based residential property developer SPG Land.

When we’re not designing, we love spending time with family, surfing, travelling and doing pretty much anything in the great outdoors.
